*Artist's Statement*

Thank you for taking the time with my work and considering my contribution to your wedding production team.

I have been making photographs for more than twenty years. My style of wedding photography is based on the beauty of the real moment. I strive to produce images rich in authenticity. My popularity has been earned by making each couple's wedding personal and authentically beautiful.

I believe in the magic of the moment. I use my extensive skill as a photojournalist to be in the right place at the right time and to capture the "decisive moments" -- when everything comes together on its own. Rather than trying to create the signature moments, I find beauty where it actually exists. And these images retain their magic year after year after year . I absolutely love my work. I am grateful that you appreciate my style enough that you have read this far into this statement.

Photography has taken me from the Sahara desert in northern Africa to icy slopes in the Himalayan range in Nepal and northern India. From Portugal to Brazil to Indonesia to Laos. My photo-journalistic style developed and blossomed during those times I was on the road for three, six, or twelve months at a time.

I began to find myself through travel and it helped me to understand myself a little deeper and to experience parts of my soul in places far away from my own "home." The foundation of my photography is in this pursuit to understand, to connect, and to be a witness. It has become an integral part of my spiritual path and the effort that I make to build and repair bridges.
